Aftercare

These aftercare guides have been created to ensure that you understand how to properly care for the treatment you have received and keep it at it's best for longer.

Nails

  • Wash hands with anti-bacterial soap

  • Apply cuticle oil and hand cream daily

  • Wear gloves for household chores

  • Avoid prolonged exposure to heat

  • Do not use nails as tools to open products

  • Only use acetone-free nail polish remover

  • Do not try to remove nail enhancements yourself as you risk damaging the natural nail and nail bed underneath

  • Schedule maintenance appointments every 3-4 weeks

Lash Extensions

  • Do not get your lashes wet or near steam for the first 24hours.

  • Wash your lashes with lash shampoo and a soft lash cleansing brush daily, or at least every other day.

  • Avoid sleeping on your front. Instead sleep on your back or side.

  • Consider a 3D sleep mask to protect your lash extensions while you sleep.

  • Do not apply mascara to your extensions.

  • Do not curl your extensions.

  • Use oil-free products around your eyes.

  • Do not pick or pull your extensions as this can damage and pull out your natural lashes.

  • Schedule a maintenance appointment every 2-3 weeks.

Brows

  • Avoid getting the brow area wet for 24 hours

  • Avoid contact with direct sunlight, sunbeds, saunas, steam rooms and swimming pools for the next 48 hours

  • Avoiding excessive rubbing or touching of the treated area for 24 hours

  • Avoid using exfoliating (be it AHA, BHA or scrubs) and anti-ageing skincare around the brow area for three days either side of your treatment

  • Avoid fake tanning products (including gradual tan) on the face for three days either side of your treatment, as it can discolour the eyebrow tint (unless you’re after khaki coloured brows)

  • Avoid applying any heavy make up (foundations, etc) on the area around the brow for 24 hours

Eyelashes

Lash Lift & Tint

  • During 24 hours after a lash lift and tint, do not:

  • Get your lashes wet or expose them to steam, moisture or sweat.

  • Sleep directly on your face.

  • Apply makeup to your lashes.

  • Expose your lashes to heat or a tanning bed.

  • Directly apply any kind of lash serum or product to your lash line that contains oil.

  • TIP: After the 24-hour period, a lash serum can be applied to your lash line.

To ensure your lashes look 100% between those 4-week visits, here are some additional aftercare tips on how to take care of your eyelash lift and tint:

  • Give your lashes a quick brush each day to keep that fresh curl in place.

    • Our recommendation: Brush in the morning after sleeping.

  • Clean your face and eye area as usual.

  • Refrain from vigorous rubbing directly along your lash line (this is a general lash health tip to practice at all times! ).

  • If you love to swim in a pool, try to keep your lashes from being overly exposed to chlorine and protect them by wearing goggles.

    • Good for you to know: Chlorine is not good for the lasting effects of your lash tint.

  • Direct sun exposure can shorten the longevity of your lash tint, so wear sunglasses or a hat to protect your lashes if you’re going to be in the sun for a long period of time.
